EA announced that the company will organize its business into four labels: EA Sports, EA Games, EA Casual Entertainment and The Sims, with each label operating with dedicated studio and publishing teams focused on consumer-driven priorities. The new structure is designed to streamline decision-making, improve global focus, and speed new ideas to the market.

Pandemic has constructed a whole new "playground of destruction" from the ground up, fully stocked with the hottest vehicles and weapons. Set in a new and exotic hotspot, you can be your own boss in a wide-open world where there's only one rule: everybody pays.

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is an RTS game set in the renowned Warhammer world, featuring epic battles within massive landscapes, while offering an astounding level of detail. This v1.72 patch adds a bunch of balance tweaks, as well as fixing various bugs and crashes.

Stranger combines epic role-playing with some of the best elements of real-time strategy. The never-before-seen spell and item enchantment system allows a never-before-seen flexibility as players simply have to swap the amounts of used crystals to adapt to their enemies' strategies.

id Software has released a new v1.4.2 Win32/Linux patch for its FPS Quake 4. This update tweaks various settings in the game, mostly multiplayer tweaking.

Sparta: Ancient Wars is an innovative RTS game based on historical events and timelines, not featuring myths or legends. Due to multiple material breaches committed by PlayLogic, developer WorldForge has terminated its agreement as of June 1, 2007. All rights reverted back to WorldForge, which appointed Play Ten Interactive as a worldwide agent for the game on the same date.

Alien Syndrome is a fast-paced action-RPG set in a stunningly imaginative sci-fi universe, offering a dramatic and engaging single-player campaign, plus a hugely re-playable co-op multiplayer mode where up to 4 players can delve into the daring quest.

Introversion has released a new patch for its action game Darwinia. This update brings your retail game to v1.5.11 but only adds content to Windows Vista users. If you bought the game through Steam, the update will automatically apply itself.

Falcon 4.0: Allied Force features extensive improvements in all areas including artificial intelligence, graphics, multiplayer, terrain and of course the stunning real time, fully dynamic campaign engine. This patch brings your retail game to v1.0.12 and improves stability and avionics, adds an auto updater and a few other tweaks.

Last week, some Halo-themed controllers popped up, but it seems that is not all McFarlane is up to, as McFarlane Toys announced a licensing agreement with Microsoft to produce a line of Halo action figures, including Master Chief, Brute Chieftain, Jackal Sniper, Grunt 2-Pack, and Cortana.

White Gold: War in Paradise explores the shadowy background of modern low intensity conflicts, where the newest weapons often do battle with the antics of witchdoctors. This Wednesday XBLA sees the arrival of the tactical, insect-infested combat game Band of Bugs, from Wednesday 20th June at 09.00 GMT. Don’t let their tiny size fool you, because these bugs are armed to the teeth, ready to take your orders and spring into action.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 will let players take the fight into their own hands with the debut of Superstar Fighting Styles. The game features eight unique styles, each having its own strategy and exclusive attributes.

K2 Network announced that the company has closed a $16 million Series B round of venture capital led by Intel Capital. The funds will be used to further develop and internationally market and grow its portfolio of Free2Play multi-player online games.

505 Games announced the official expansion pack for its realistic tactical combat simulation title ArmA: Armed Assault. ArmA: Queen’s Gambit adds two new story based campaigns, and two new multiplayer missions.
