The epic saga continues with Halo 3, as Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax. At midnight the floodgates open for the masses to get their copy, and Goldman Sachs analysts predict an estimated 4.2 million copies of Halo 3 are currently at retail outlets, 1.5 million of which are pre-ordered.

A few weeks back SCi, Eidos' parent company, revealed that it was in preliminary talks with an interested party regarding a possible takeover, although it stressed that negotiations were very early.
