20th Century Fox has acquired the movie rights to one of EA's most popular and best-selling franchises, its life simulation game The Sims," according to Variety. Fox's John Davis, known for Norbit and Eragon, will oversee the live-action project, with Sims studio head Rod Humble managing the creative property for EA, while Brian Lynch (Scary Movie 3) will script.
