Last year Take Two announced closure of its Vienna studio, responsible for creating titles such as Max Payne 1/2 for consoles, GTA 3, Vice city etc. Since then it has been real quiet but now a new studio has emerged from the ashes as Hannes Seifert, Niki Laber, and Jürgen Goeldner team up once again with Games That Matter. In an interview with CNET, Sony's CEO made a statement that, if true, indicates the European PS3 launch might be facing a delay after all. Originally scheduled for March, Howard Stringer commented "We have got the European launch in April, which is very important to us." Unless this is merely a miscommunication Europe will have to wait yet another month extra.

UPDATE:Sony Europe President David Reeves confirmed again that the PS3 is still on for a March release, Stringer's statement was a mishap.
