Ubi Soft, in partnership with DC Comics, Warner Home Video, and GamePro Magazine have announced a joint promotion in support of Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, the first video game to introduce a new character into the Batman universe. The promotion will include, the "Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu - Art Attack! Contest" sponsored by Ubi Soft, which will run from now through October 31. Entrants submitting their best drawings of Batman will be judged by legendary comic book artist and Sin Tzu's co-creator, Jim Lee.

The final semi-final rounds of the World Cyber Games will take place this weekend at CompUSA locations across the country. This weekend’s tournament will feature StarCraft: Brood War on Saturday, July 26th, and Age of Mythology and FIFA Soccer 2003 on Sunday, July 27th. Check in for semi-final rounds is at 10:30am and the games begin promptly at 11:00am. This weekend’s last group of semi-finalists will join previous winners at the World Cyber Games U.S. Finals in Los Angeles in August. From there, the country’s best players will move onto the Grand Final in Korea in October, where they will compete for $350,000 in cash and prizes. HD Interactive/Digitalo have released a new patch for their FPS Devastation. This patch brings your retail game to v390 and works for all editions except the French and Russian one's. An initiative of developer Digitalo, the patch mostly addresses many of the single player issues reported since launch in April 2003.
