'Silent Hill 3' Bundled With Original Music Soundtrack

Konami of America, Inc. announced that Silent Hill 3, the highly-anticipated new release in the blockbuster horror series, will ship with a 70-minute music soundtrack. Composed, performed and edited by the game's producer, Akira Yamaoka at Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, the soundtrack features the game's distinctive musical score as well as four exclusive vocal tracks.

Wide Games, the ambitious developer of the best-selling PS2, Xbox and PC smash, Prisoner of War, today announces a move into licensed products and conversions. Building on the success of POW - the only unlicensed, non-sequel game in the top ten last summer, Wide Games has recently completed a GameCube conversion, and is now working an Xbox/PC port for a major US publisher.

'Resident Evil Online' - Trailer

Resident Evil Online is set in Raccoon City and seems to feature gameplay typical of the series, but it will allow up to four players play together at once. There are eight characters -- including a police officer, plumber, journalist, and surgeon -- each with his or her own skills. Cooperation is a big part of the online game's design. Player characters can interact by exchanging weapons, helping another player get up, or by providing a steady shoulder for a wounded character to lean on. However, players can't always rely on the security of a group and may start a scenario separated from each other. There are also nonplayer characters in the game that players can talk to for information, including those characters that weren't selected by players. Read more to check out the trailer ...

GMX Media Signs 'Enigma: Rising Tide' - Screens

GMX Media today inked a deal with Tesseraction Games to publish a full single player retail version of its online naval warfare game, Enigma: Rising Tide for the PC. Enigma: Rising Tide will be available at retail sometime in March, according to GMX Media. The retail version will include 60 missions, a free 30 day trial of the online game (when it launches) and hands-free voice command technology. Based on feedback we received at the mod maker round table sessions at QuakeCon, we created a private forum for mod makers. This forum is a place for all mod makers of all engines / games (not just Raven games) to come and discuss any issues associated with mod making, such as programming, scripting, mapping, modeling, textures, sounds, etc. This forum is only open to people actively involved in making content. If you wish to join, create an account on our forums and then email me with your account name and I’ll give you access. There is also a small website associated with this whole endeavor. Again, this is for all people making mods for all games / engines.

I wanted to let everyone know that 3DO has given their stamp of approval to the Winds of War expansion, and the Gold Master is on its way to the duplicators! I'm sure we'll be sneaking some WoW info onto the boards in the next few weeks, and maybe, just maybe, I'll have some early Heroes V info as well.
