Expanding the reach of Wolverine's razor sharp adamantium claws, Activision announced today that X-Men: Wolverine's Revenge is headed to the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and PC. With the addition of these two versions, the game will be released this spring on five platforms simultaneously with the upcoming X-Men feature film entitled "X2." X-Men: Wolverine's Revenge is also in development for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCube and is the only action-adventure game that allows players to assume the role of Wolverine, the ultimate fighting X-Man.

In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets players enter fantastical free-roaming 3D environments from Harry's world. Players become Harry Potter and delve not only into Harry's world, but also into his personality, via an internal "voice." Conversing with unique characters like Moaning Myrtle, shopping in Diagon Alley, and exploring the convoluted corridors of Hogwarts, players make crucial and independent decisions within Harry's world. The demo offers two levels from the full retail PC game, which is based on the movie of the same name. PS2.IGN confirmed with Sierra Studios today that an original, forthcoming X-Files game is in development for PS2 and Xbox in spring 2003. The upcoming X-Files game, as of yet untitled, is a single-player survival-horror game in development with Black Ops (Street Hoops, Knockout Kings, BlackDawn) for PS2 and Xbox, and scheduled for a Q2 2003 release date. Actors Jillian Anderson and David Duchovny will pitch in to do the voices for their X-Files characters Dana Scully and Fox Mulder.

the official web site for their upcoming Gamecube role-playing game, "Summoner The Prophecy". The new site has character bios, the latest screens, and a ton of general information. Summoner The Prophecy ships for the GameCube during Q2 2003, and follows Maia, Queen of the Halassar, as she fulfills her prophecy foretold in the ‘Book of the Prophets’.

Computer & Video Games has word from an unnamed source that a
sequel to this year's PSOne/PC crime action game, The Italian Job, is in the works. The first game, based on the classic 1969 crime drama, was published by SCi but the game sequel will be developed by UK based Climaz and published by Eidos, according to the report. The game, which will come out on the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube, will be released around the same time as the upcoming movie remake of The Italian Job shows up in theaters this summer (

The newest issue of Computer Games magazine has a brief article on an upcoming Dungeons & Dragons PC RPG called "The Temple Of Elemental Evil". Based on a classic 1985 D&D pen-and-paper module from its creator Gary Gygax, the article states that the developer of the game will be Trokia, who previously developed the "steampunk" RPG Arcanum. The game is scheduled to be released via publisher Infogrames in the latter half of 2003, according to the report (
