Old school players will surely remember the legendary computer game Stunt Car Racer. In that time, the game marked an enormous success and has a lot of fans even today. Its first contribution was a superb playability. The second article, as important as the first one, was the possibility of building your own tracks and races them afterwards. Many years have passed but no game that allowed such things did emerge, instead they all limited the player to race only pre-defined tracks. Slovak company Mayhem Studios took the chance and started this ambitious project that is going to be released in the half of the next year.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today announced that it had sold over 7 million PlayStation 2 computer entertainment systems to consumers in the territories served by SCEE. "More than 30 first party games titles and over 200 third party games for PlayStation 2 are scheduled for release in the coming year".

Ubi Soft® Entertainment, one of the world's leading videogame publishers, today announced a worldwide licensing deal with Viacom Consumer Products to publish games based on the upcoming motion picture release, The Sum Of All Fears. Paramount Pictures' The Sum of All Fears, is the latest Tom Clancy novel to grace the big screen, this time starring Ben Affleck as Jack Ryan. Ubi Soft plans to launch the PC version of the game in conjunction with the movie release, in May for U.S. and Canadian audiences and in the fall for European fans. Ubi Soft will also release the game on the new generation of consoles in the months following the movie's release.
