Darkfall - Development Status Update

The official Darkfall site has today been updated with Darkfall development status. Darkfall is a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG (MMORPG), and is 100% inhouse developed, using Razorwax unique 3D/client, server and tools technology. Here is a snip from the update:

At the start of Pre-Alpha we had some serious crash bugs, but 99% of all those bugs have been found and fixed. The game has now been up and running for about 3 months without any server crashes, and we have had about 20 testers helping us out (thanks a lot guys!).

YooMedia Signs Excusive Licence With Tetris

YooMedia plc, the interactive community entertainment company, today enters into an exclusive licensing agreement with The Tetris Company LLC for the rights to develop and market Tetris to NTL and Telewest digital TV subscribers. 20,000 Battle.net Accounts Banned

The Battle.net team let us know that over 20,000 Battle.net accounts have been banned. All of these accounts were associated with 8,500 accounts using the "Chest Hack" that appeared in the user community over the past week. In addition to this hack's effects on the player economy, its use directly affected the stability of Diablo II realms, causing a number of dramatic performance issues. This is in keeping with their commitment to provide the highest possible level of quality for their legitimate users.

The new v1.2 update patch for Barking Dog's recent first person shooter, Global Operations, has been released. Its about 5mb worth of fixes and tweaks such as : fixed the client freeze at round end, fixed server crash when allied teams kill NPCs, fixed mouse zoom bug, fixed gas/smoke grenade sprite bug, c4 bomb pick up issue, other stability fixes. Get it off the Worthplaying server or off the official EA server.

You are manager of a transport company in a self-built realistic 3D World. This demo does allow you to explore the world, play the complete tutorial including 2 mini-missions as a start.
