FBI Wants To Track Your Internet Behaviour

In a private meeting at the Justice Department between U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, FBI Director Robert Mueller and industry representatives, ISPs were strongly urged to retain subscriber information and network data for two years. The reason for the data retention would be to prevent child pornography, but privacy advocates doubt the validity of that claim, fearing the gathered intel would be used in all kinds of criminal and civil suits.
