Koei Europe announced plans to release Disgaea 2 on PS2 this coming autumn. Loved for its wicked sense of humour, acclaimed for its tactical depth and responsible for more lost hours of sleep than an entire city of dripping taps, over sensitive car alarms and stereos on full bass, Disgaea 2 returns with more of what made the first game such a joy and adds a whole batch of cunning new tricks.

Samurai Warriors 2 is not a major change since its predecessor although the beat'em will feature several changes compared to the original. You will be able to select from 20 characters each offering different ways of fighting, no load times when the action changes from interior to exterior battles, and new combo configurations and better special attacks.

The 2007 Game Developers Conference (GDC) is now accepting submissions for roundtables, tutorials, lectures, panels, and poster sessions, deadline is Friday, July 28. GDC 2007 is scheduled to be held at the San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center March 5-9, 2007.

Back in April 2006, Autumn Moon Entertainment announced that it had terminated its contract with publisher Bad Brain, and thus causing a delay for the game overall. Today AME announced that it has signed a new publisher for A Vampyre Story, although its name, nor a release date, have yet to be disclosed.

Originally scheduled for Q1 2006, Bohemia has postponed Armed Assault and pushed the launch date to Q3 2006 instead.

Last week's update got lost in the demo release excitement so after a hiatus Human Head Studios' Chris Rhinehart is back with the weekly Prey update. Since the Prey went gold not much happened so Chris gives us a little background information on why they decided to make the demo rather big in content, but most important bit of information is the fact that there are plans for additional content, and maps in the works.
