Interactive entertainment publisher, Mastiff LLC announced today that they will be publishing another of Nippon Ichi Software Inc’s great tactical RPGs, La Pucelle: Tactics, exclusively for the PlayStation2 in early May 2004. Mythic Entertainment announced “Dark Age of Camelot: New Frontiers,” a free downloadable expansion that reinvents the game’s unique Realm vs. Realm combat system, where player characters from the game’s three different Realms engage in life and death struggles across numerous battlegrounds, keeps and through the expansive frontier areas. Mythic plans to make “New Frontiers” available in Q2 2004.

'Chrome' - MP Patch & Updated MP Demo

Techland has released a new MP patch for their sci-fi shooter Chrome. This upgrade brings your retail game to v1.2.0.0 and adds a few new maps, HUD changes, switchable positions in vehicles and a few other tweaks. Strategy First wants to express the fact this patch is NOT for North American versions of the game, that patch will come later. Leading video games developer and publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that its unique first person fighting/shooter game, Breakdown, has gone gold. Exclusively for the Xbox, Breakdown is scheduled to reveal its mysterious plot and sneak onto store shelves on March 16, 2004.

BAM! Entertainment Acquires VIS Entertainment

Entertainment today announced that it has agreed terms to acquire VIS entertainment plc ("VIS"), a Scottish developer of interactive entertainment software products, and SOE Development Limited ("SOED"), a company set up to fund the development of State of Emergency 2, one of VIS' key properties.
