Future 'Counter-Strike Source' Steamy Update #7

Valve announced today that it is content with the reception after recently releasing Counter-Strike: Source maps de_inferno and de_port, and on that note, give us a look at what's coming next. This week, Valve has released a couple of screenshots from the remake of the classic Counter-Strike map cs_assault, which is now set in downtown Chicago. Valve would also like to keep everyone abreast of the games the MOD community is working on, so here is a list of a few we're keeping our eye on: Plan of Attack, Pirates, Vikings, and Knights 2, Sven Co-Op 2, Sourceball, and Dystopia.

The game is built around the concept of resource and force management, as well as battlefield strategy, all packaged neatly within a fully featured game including a riveting story, beautiful 3D graphics and breathtaking sound effects.

Activision's 'True Crime 2' Guess The City Contest - Trailer

During E3 Activision started a Guess The City Contest for the public to try and find out (ends 11:59 p.m. PT on June 16, 2005) which location its True Crime sequel will take place. Giving away a brand new Chrysler 300 to the lucky winner, Activision has released a new trailer showing off some ingame footage, as well as giving a few hints. 'Age of Empires III' - 44 New Screens

'Age of Empires III' is set in 1500 A.D. and chronicles the Age of Discovery that started around the time that Columbus "discovered" the new world. The single player campaign follows American history up through 1850, and in multiplayer mode, you'll be able to choose from among eight different civilizations, and there will include free-for-all and team-vs-team matches for up to eight players.

California Violent Video Game Bill Stalls

A bill before the California Assembly to ban the sale of violent video games has been shelved because of a lack of support and therefor Assemblyman Leland Yee has deactivated his bill, for the time being, after failing to muster enough votes for it to pass the full Assembly.
