Nintendo revealed today that the US edition of its Japanese "runaway" hit Nintendogs will have three new breeds on top of the previously announced 18. Purchase one of several breeds available at the beginning of the game, then start spending time with your pup.

Mythic Entertainment today announced that Steve Perkins has joined the company as Director of Marketing. A seven-year veteran of the computer and videogame industry, Perkins recently served in the same capacity at EA leading the marketing for numerous titles, including the "Battlefield" franchise. Xing Interactive and German developer Mediaseasons are proud to announce Bowling Champs. Bowling Champs is a full 3D bowling game which is part of the Sports Champs series Xing Interactive announced earlier this year. Other titles in the range are Winter Sports Extreme, Championship Soccer, Pool Champs, Amju Super Golf, Cricket Champs, Tennis Champs and the soon to be announced Shufflepuck Champs. The game is scheduled for August 27th, 2005 and will retail at 9.99 Euro.

Red Mile Entertainment today announced that it has acquired the rights to publish the flight combat game Heroes of the Pacific. Developed by Australia-based developer IR Gurus, the game will release for the PlayStation2, Xbox and PC in the fall of 2005.
