Curse is a dramatic horror action adventure based around the mysterious disappearance from a museum of a priceless Egyptian statuette "The Eye Of Isis". The statuette is protected by an ancient and evil curse that causes madness or violent death to all who come into contact with it. The curse manifests itself by raising diabolical mummified dead to exact violent revenge on the idols desecraters. The main object of the game is to recover the missing statue and return it via train and then cargo steam-ship to the heart of the pyramid from where it was originally removed. Got Game Entertainment today confirmed that their upcoming adventure of murder and mystery, "Conspiracies", will be packaged to include the game in both DVD and CD formats. This first-person 3D adventure features a futuristic setting, Full Motion Video, dozens of characters, non-linear gameplay and loads of challenging puzzles.

Steam Beta Ends, Full Version Ships Next Week

The Steam Beta has delivered several Valve games and popular Half-Life MODs to over 300,000 gamers, and will come to a close Tuesday evening (Pacific Daylight Time). The first full version of Steam, Valve's broadband platform for the delivery and management of digital content, will launch at 11 am PDT on Wednesday. Set up installers for the full version, which will be free of charge to existing Half-Life and Counter-Strike players, will be available from www.steampowered.com and leading game sites.

Published by Wizards of the Coast, the World of Greyhawk, remains one of the most popular Dungeons & Dragons® campaign settings of all time and will make its first interactive appearance with the September 23rd release of The Temple of Elemental Evil. The Temple of Elemental Evil will feature an exciting party-based single player campaign, an engaging storyline based on the classic D&D® adventure of the same name as well as a faithful translation of the latest 3.5 edition rules. Vivendi Universal Games announced that the video game FuturamaÔ has arrived at retail stores nationwide. The 31st century comes to virtual life with the assistance of Matt Groening who served as Executive Game Designer throughout the development of the video game. Futurama is a third-person platform action game, developed by Unique Development Studios in Sweden, for the PlayStation2 and the Xbox and features four playable characters, over twenty levels, puzzle/platform gameplay, and special combat moves all combined with the humor, character development and innovation of the highly popular & award winning television show created by Matt Groening.
