Condemned: Criminal Origins allows players to experience an unnatural level of psychological tension as they use their instincts, forensic tools, and melee combat to track serial killers and bring them to justice. Gamers will play as Ethan Thomas, an FBI agent in the Serial Crimes Unit (SCU), whose pursuit of relentless serial killers leads him through detailed urban environments filled with deadly sociopaths who lurk on the periphery of humanity.

Electronic Arts today announced that it has 25 videogames for next generation consoles currently in development. EA's announced next generation line-up will be at the upcoming E3 in Los Angeles, May 18-20, 2005.

Today Ubisoft announced development of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3, the next installment in the squad-based action franchise. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3 is scheduled to ship for retail in conjunction with the launch of the Xbox 360 and will also be available on the PS2, Xbox, NGC and PC this holiday 2005. Ubisoft today announced that one new Versus map and two new Co-op multiplayer maps will soon be available on PC and Xbox (via Xbox Live) for owners of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. The Versus map, called Squat, will be available at the end of May, and the two Co-op maps, Nuclear Plant and UN HQ, will follow shortly thereafter. The maps will be free of charge.
