SCEA announced today the release of SIREN, available exclusively for the PlayStation 2. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, in conjunction with SCEA'sSanta Monica Studios, SIREN puts the player into an alternate reality, capable of raising the heartbeat and creating a true sense of suspense and fear allowing for a new horror thriller entertainment experience.

Capcom today presents Under the Skin for the PlayStation2. Under the Skin allows gamers to take the reigns of a mischievous alien named Cosmi who travels the galaxy on a training mission to pull pranks and initiate panic on the planet Earth. Transform into the personas of the individuals Cosmi meets in order to complete the tasks for returning home in this unique and interesting twist on the action genre. Under the Skin is scheduled for release throughout North America this fall.

Dreamcatcher has announced that the anticipated Painkiller multiplayer demo will be released May 3rd and the demo will allow players to blow each other to bits in two modes: the self-explanatory Deathmatch and Voosh, a Deathmatch variation where players are given random weapons--but unlimited ammo--for a limited time. It will also feature two maps: DM-Sacred and DM-Cursed and will include all the updates and optimizations from the upcoming 1.1 patch (thanks Gamespot ). The Painkiller 1.1 patch will support the new NVIDIA 6800 cards with Pixel Shader 3.0 effects as well as improve the netcode, but has been delayed a few days as it seems (was expected today).

Van Helsing, the third-person action game, transports players back to the macabre world of 19th century Transylvania - home to the legendary Dracula, Wolf Man and the Frankenstein Monster. In this clever and entertaining strategy / life simulation game created by Elixir Studios, the player assumes the role of a wicked mastermind bent on achieving global domination through the construction of the ultimate doomsday device. A tongue-in-cheek take on the 60's spy thriller genre, Evil Genius offers the player the chance to be the villain and control a secret island fortress complete with powerful (and strangely dressed) henchmen, mindlessly loyal minions and a wide range of hilarious gizmos.

The Leisure Suit Larry videogame franchise began in 1987 with The Land of the Lounge Lizards, the first of seven games in the series. Since then, the Leisure Suit Larry games have sold more than 35 millions of units worldwide and its games are considered collector items.
