Electronic Arts today revealed that acclaimed Hollywood writer/director John Milius, known for movies like Jaws, Dirty Harry and Apocolypse Now, to be the screenwriting talent behind the WWII storyline of Medal of Honor European Assault, the latest from the widely successful Medal of Honor franchise.

In SpellForce II the player takes over the role of the avatar, solving quests and overcoming obstacles as in classical RPGs, but also leads armies as in a RTS. The avatar is supported by up to 5 heroes, who can be summoned at special monuments – these will become available in stronger versions as play progresses. Finally in most scenarios, the player leads one of three factions (Alliance of Light, Hordes of Chaos, Brotherhood of Darkness) and builds bases to gather resources and summon troops at monuments. SCEA announced today the North American release of God of War, available exclusively for the PS2. Developed by SCEA's Santa Monica Studios, previously known for the Twisted Metal franchise, God of War is a single-player action-adventure game based on the dark brutal world of Greek mythology. Sony Online today announced that Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade has shipped to North American retail stores.
