The Forgotten Hope team has released the first beta of their realism MOD for Battlefield 1942. Forgotten Hope Beta 0.5 is about 50% complete and features a huge number of planes, tanks and battleships - not only beautifully modelled, but also simulated in a very realistic way. At the Tokyo Game Show in Japan today, Konami of America Inc., announced that Suikoden IV, the newest installment in the popular role-playing game (RPG) series, will be released in the U.S. for PS2 in Fall 2004. Hailed as one of the greatest RPGs ever made, the series is renowned for its depth of gameplay, immersive storytelling and expansive fantasy world. The Suikoden series first appeared seven years ago on the PlayStation, followed by Suikoden II in 1999. Last year, Konami released the critically acclaimed Suikoden III for PS2.

Buka has now released the official demo (after the previously leaked E3 demo) for their upcoming helicopter game Fair Strike. This demo contains three missions (Invasion, Seasonable Aid, and River Convoy) from the first two campaigns, and lets you fly the Ka-50 Hokum and AH-64a Apache. It also sports a 4 player (LAN only) deathmatch multiplayer map 'DM Carribean fourth'. Read more for download links ...
