Ultimate Arena, Inc., today announced thhat S2Games will be bundling Xfire with the Savage: The Battle for Newerth Demo version 2.0 due out in a few days. Xfire (http://www.xfire.com ) is an IM designed for gamers that shows players when, what games, and where their friends are playing online. With one click, users can instantly join their friends' games.

Agetec's Mark 'Duhrin' Johnson revealed on the official Agetec forum that From Software's upcoming horror/FPS "Shadow Tower: Abyss" has been rejected by SCEA's (Sony Computer Entertainment America) Quality Control department and therefor is now cancelled. According to Johnson, reason for the thumbs down was the poor graphics and the fact that there was no market for this type of game in North America.
