'Toca Race Driver' - Demo Available NOW

Codemasters has just released a new beta demo of Pro Race Driver (a.k.a Toca Race Driver) offering a renewed opportunity to try out this upcoming touring car racing simulation by Codemasters. The demo (courtesy of PC Format magazine and Blackhole Motorsports) lets you test run in a Proton Satria GTi on the Monza track, and a two lap race in a Lexus LS200 around the short (Indy) circuit at Brands Hatch (thanks 3DGamers).

Funcom has released a new patch for their MMORPG Anarchy Online bringing your retail copy to v14.7.10. In 'Wallace & Gromit' players will rescue young animals from the clutches of mischievous monkeys and thwart Feathers McGraw's twisted and diabolical plan for total zoo domination. Set in an immersive 3D world, the player is cast as Gromit and is challenged to solve puzzles and locate keys in order to rescue the young animals. Machine parts, located throughout the game's many testing levels, must also be gathered so that the ever-inventive Wallace can create a marvellous contraption with which to deal the final knockout blow to the dastardly Feathers and his vile plans. Bam Entertainment's "Ice Nine" is one of their upcoming PS2 (also coming for the GBA) titles, inspired by the upcoming Al Pacino and Colin Farrell movie "The Recruit". Ice Nine suggest a stealth action game, aimed at the effort to stop the Ice Nine computer virus. Today we have some more screens for you to enjoy!

Bam Ent. is hard at work on their cross platform title "A Sound Of Thunder" based on Ray Bradbury's classic story (and also upcoming movie). Its all about hunting dinosaur's Jurrasic Park style. Don’t change anything in the past, don’t leave anything behind and don’t bring anything back. Unfortunately someone screwed up… Today we have some new PS2/Xbox screens for you to njoy!

'Heroes Of M&M IV4 : Winds of War' Ships To Stores

While some other places seem to have put up a 'HOMM4 Winds of War' game announcement, the game was already announced last year and went gold last month. Instead 3DO let us know that they have shipped the Heroes of Might and Magic IV: Winds of War expansion pack to stores and should appear on shelves any time now. In the second expansion to the best-sellingfantasy turn-based strategy game, players battle fantastic creatures and face fierce armies across 45 action-packed maps.

'Motor City Online' Runs Out Of Fuel

Starting August 29, 2003, Motor City will no longer be in service. After a fun run of over a year of online racing, Electronic Arts has made the decision to close Motor City Online in order to focus resources on future games. "Please check your email associated with your Motor City Online game account for updates and more information on what this closure means to you. We hope you've enjoyed the game as much as we have and that we'll see you again in another great EA game! " EA is offering subscribers a free copy of either The Sims Online or Ultima Online, provided they accept the offer prior to the end of MCO billing and are over 13 years of age. LucasArts today announced the retail availability of the epic action-adventure game Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb on the Xbox (which brings everyone's favorite archeologist to life as never before). LucasArts' highly anticipated latest installment in the Indiana Jones series is already topping many editors' lists as the hot game of the season.
