The "Dead or Alive" fighting video game franchise is coming to the big screen in a film described as "Charlie's Angels" meets "Enter the Dragon." The project, targeted for a fall 2004 release, is set up at Impact Pictures, which currently has video game-to-movie titles "Driver" and "Resident Evil 2" in the works.

Wildly considered to be the hottest title for the Xbox, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is infiltrating the PS2 and GameCube with so much tension-filled stealth action it leaves players gasping for more. Vivendi Universal Games and Interplay Entertainment Corp. today announced that Run Like Hell for the Xbox has shipped to retail. This expanded Xbox version of the survival horror game includes an additional "hydroponics" level, five additional rooms and several new bloodthirsty creatures. Dolby® Digital 5.1 and High-definition (HDTV) will be supported in the game, and additional mini games and skins are available at launch via Xbox Live.
