Midway announced today its videogame lineup for next-generation game systems at the E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, May 22-24, 2002. So far we added screens for Mortal Kombat : Deadly Alliance, Haven : Kall Of The King, Freaky Flyers, Dr.Muto, Defender, Legion, Gauntlet : Dark Legacy, MLB Slugfest 2003, NHL Hitz 2003 and Gravity Games Bike ... Digital Extremes, a leading interactive game development studio based in London, Ontario, Canada, and best known for its co-creation of the Unreal franchise, today announced the opening of a second studio in Toronto. The new studio called Brainbox Games will focus specifically on game development for the next generation video game systems and is currently in production with its first title.

Codemasters is going strong with their lineup and now we got 15 screens from The Bitmap Brothers' WWII RTS (Pc) as well as 17 Xbox screens from LMA Manager 2003. Especially those WW2 screens are very impressive... *drool*

Columbia Pictures has optioned the rights to develop a science-fiction, action-adventure franchise based on the award-winning PC game "Deus Ex," as announced today by Peter Schlessel, President of Production for Columbia Pictures. The project will be developed and produced by Laura Ziskin, who most recently produced Spider-Man for the studio.

Vivendi Universal came to the E3 packing some serious heat. Today we serve up screens from about 10 titles they will be showing off during the show in LA. Ecks vs. Sever PlayStation 2 is being developed by Seattle-based Zombie Studios. The movie, due in theatres this November, stars Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu. Building on the release of last fall’s critically acclaimed Ecks vs. Sever for Game Boy Advance®, Ecks vs. Sever PlayStation 2 is anticipated to be available this November shortly after the release of the movie.
