Five new action-packed titles headline the Xbox Live Arcade line-up at TGS, with Snoopy Flying Ace, Toy Soldiers, 0 Day Attack on Earth, Bomberman Live Battlefest and RayStorm HD, as well as new details on the free-to-play Joy Ride, and South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play!

Dead Rising 2 will take the franchise to a new level of zombie-killing fun with tens of thousands of zombies, the all new gambling paradise of Fortune City to explore and conquer plus a host of new in-game objects that can all be used as deadly weapons to stave off the zombie assault.

In Critter Crunch players take control of the oh-so-cuddly Biggs, a lovable jungle creature with an iron-clad stomach, indomitable tongue and fierce devotion to his offspring. Biggs is in search of the jewel-rich critters that invade his habitat once a season, and using his tongue to pluck them from their vines, stuffs them into the waiting mouths of larger critters.

Fans hoping for a little extra have been rewarded as SCEA confirmed that the GoW Collection will give fans access to a GoW III downloadable demo (the version used at the E3/Comic-Con/PAX conventions)

When Microsoft released its New Xbox Experience Nov of last year one of the new/exclusive features allowed viewers to stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix in HD. Earlier this year a new job listing (for a engineering developing and testing media-rich applications on current-generation gaming consoles) indicated that Netflix won't be exclusive to the Xbox 360 for much longer, which has now been confirmed by CEO Reed Hastings saying that "eventually we want to be on all the game consoles, all the Blu-ray players, all the Internet TVs"

Well here's some food for thought. If you thought this morning's rumor that various parties, including EA and Warner Bros., were interested in buying THQ was unbelievable, then how about the fact that, according to options strategist Frederic Ruffy over at New York based WhatsTrading.com, Microsoft might be interested in acquiring Electronic Arts. Shares for both companies jumped up earlier today when the rumor started spreading, with Reuters claiming "a London-based trader also cited similar talk as making rounds in Europe."
