Mechwarrior 5 Developer Already in Legal Trouble?

When Microsoft shut down Shadowrun studio FASA, founder Jordan Weisman bought back the rights to MechWarrior, Shadowrun, Crimson Skies and the other properties in the FASA catalog, and formed Smith & Tinker. At that time, it was too early to announce any plans, but in the meantime it has been confirmed that Piranha Games is working on Mechwarrior 5. Unfortunatly it seems the released trailer infringes on certain trademarked figures from the Robotech/Macross universe, owned by Harmony Gold, who has been sending out cease and desist orders.
