World of Warcraft is an MMORPG experience where players assume the roles of Warcraft heroes as they explore, adventure, and quest across a vast world. In preparation for the launch of its new features (cross-realm chat, create real-life friends lists, communicate across different games, and a whole lot more), all current WoW players will be required to merge their accounts with a Battle.net account in order to log in to the game starting on Nov. 11, 2009.

Yesterday we reported that Oxygen Games (known for titles such as PDC World Championship Darts, Chronos Twins, and various other budget titles) had fallen into administration (Chapter 11) after earlier this year already having sold off all its internal development studios. A day later there is better news as all its IPs, stock and employees are being acquired by former Oxygen boss Jim Scott, who will bring everything under his sales and distribution firm OG International.
