'Gears of War' (ALL) Script Looking Incredibly Good Says Writer

Gears of War is an action game where hero Marcus Fenix is rescued from prison by a small group of elite soldiers to save planet Sera from an invasion of aliens known as the Locust. Coming off the recent The Dark Knight success, Legendary Pictures has jumped on the Gears of War train to co-finance/produce the project. The Gears of War movie was picked up by New Line Cinema last year, said to be directed by Die Hard 4's Len Wiseman, and currently scheduled for 2010. Screenwriter Chris Morgan revealed a draft of the script has been finished and "It's looking incredibly good.”
