'Crysis' - DirectX9 vs. DirectX10 Multiplayer Performance

In Crysis shooter fans will face a new kind of challenge requiring adaptive tactics and customization of weapons and armor in dynamic, hostile environments as mankind struggles to survive in the face of an alien invasion. Crytek revealed that the Team Action mode has been removed (no one liked it), and multiplayer will differentiate overall whether you use DX9 (no physics & day/night cycle) and DX10 (full on).

'Death to Spies' - 14 New Screens

"Smersh" is Russian for the phrase "Death to Spies," as well as the name of Soviet counterintelligence departments during WWII. Their mission was to secure the Red Army by arresting traitors, deserters, spies and criminal elements. During the war, these agents became the main force combating the German intelligence service.

The upcoming October 2007 issue of Game Informer has the first details of a new survival horror/sci-fi title from Electronic Arts, saying "Fans of the cult-classic film Event Horizon and straight-up horror aficionados aren’t going to want to miss this one!" No developer of platforms were revealed except for "In the far reaches of space, humanity brings to light a forgotten alien scourge. Can one man cut through the darkness?"
