Nexon America's free-to-play online first person shooter Combat Arms deploys players into a dangerous war zone teeming with soldiers of fortune looking to make a mark.

Originally scheduled for release in 2004, CDV dropped the game, which resulted in developer UDS shutting down. It was acquired by Swedish Daydream Software and picked up by Playlogic International, but never released. ZOINK and SnapDragon Games have revived the project to bring the redesigned action platformer to the Wii, with added features and a visual overhaul.

Gunrox is a free-to-play turn-based squad-oriented tactical combat game, in which you create a squad of soldiers and battle players around the world in head-to-head or cooperative skirmishes.

Strategy First is bringing back the undead and well-armed hero Karl Stolz, ready to defeat Hitler’s forces with Ubersoldier 2: The End of Hitler. The classic first person shooter is set in WWII with richly added RPG elements and traditional FPS features.

David Warhol, president of Realtime Associates, and Vincent Bitetti, former CEO of TDK Mediactive, announced the formation of Music Video Games (MvG), a music-based game company focused on delivering interactive entertainment experiences for both casual gamers and music fans.

A year after signing its original agreement, SEGA of America announced that it has extended its relationship with Epic Games by signing a new Unreal Engine 3 licensing deal for a yet unannounced, cross-platform game.

Afrika is a faithful replications of much of Africa's flora and fauna. SCEA showed the first glimpse of it at E3 2006, but hasn't been heard of since. Over the weekend we revealed a possible release date, and since SCEJ launched a teaser website, albeit quite empty with just a "coming soon" logo, and Sony Europe made the odd statement that it will NOT be publishing Afrika.
