Originally scheduled for release in 2004, CDV dropped the game, which resulted in developer UDS shutting down. It was acquired by Swedish Daydream Software and picked up by Playlogic International, but never released. ZOINK and SnapDragon Games have revived the project to bring the redesigned action platformer to the Wii, with added features and a visual overhaul.

No 'Afrika' (PS3) For Europe?

Afrika is a faithful replications of much of Africa's flora and fauna. SCEA showed the first glimpse of it at E3 2006, but hasn't been heard of since. Over the weekend we revealed a possible release date, and since SCEJ launched a teaser website, albeit quite empty with just a "coming soon" logo, and Sony Europe made the odd statement that it will NOT be publishing Afrika.
