Originally a GBA game, the NDS version has all monsters, elements, and items animated in 3D, now with updated dungeons, and 4 extra characters. Although already gone gold, Mazes of Fate was originally scheduled for Oct. 2007, pushed to Feb. 2008, then delayed until March, and now an ambiguous Q2 2008.

Not only is Ubisoft working on a web-based version of Heroes of Might and Magic, China based NetDragon Websoft is developing a full-blown 2.5D MMORPG based on the franchise. Currently in testing, Heroes of Might and Magic Online will allow you to control a virtual hero who leads an armym and by capturing towns, players can also engage extra armies to help them in their conquests.
