TimeShift is an FPS in which players control time to complete missions and defeat foes. The game will leverage the latest graphics technology to create a unique action game experience. A little earlier than expected, the TimeShift multiplayer demo is now on Xbox Live, giving you a chance to check out the King of Time and Meltdown Madness modes.

Atari announced that its CEO David Pierce has resigned, and is being replaced by Chief Restructuring Officer Curtis G. Solsvig III on an interim basis. Atari also announced it is seizing game development and will instead focus on publishing and distribution.

Interplay has released its latest quarterly numbers, with no significant revenue to speak of ($497,000 compared to last year's $1.6 million). After having sold off its Fallout IP to Bethesda earlier this year, Interplay still has the MMO rights, and just revealed it has hired veteran game developer, Jason Anderson, as creative director of a yet unannounced MMMO, and has reinitiating its in-house game development studio.
