Glyphic Entertainment is currently developing Warlords DS, the second instalment of the Warlords franchise on the NDS platform after last year’s Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Marker Man is a NDS/Wii mash up of a classic side-scroller with a puzzle game in the vein of Lemmings or The Incredible Machine.

SCi signed the Highlander license a few years ago, and Widescreen is developing a Unreal Engine 3 powered third person action adventure set in the Highlander universe – control an Immortal embroiled in a battle against rival Immortals in an adventure spanning over 2000 years.

When SCi announced it was no longer conducting any merger/buyout talks, the top management of Eidos' parent company came under pressure from disappointed shareholders. As a result CEO Jane Cavanagh, managing director of publishing Bill Ennis, and managing director of studios Rob Murphy have stepped down and left the company. Former EA/Criterion exec Phil Rogers will move from his CFO position into the CEO seat, while US CFO Malcolm Dunne will take Rogers' position.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with a few Playstation Eye titles (Tori-Emaki & Mesmerize: Trace for $1.99) and a Blast Factor Bundle ($12.99). The weekly Rock Band tracks are now also available (Last Train to Clarksville / The Monkees, All the Small Things / Blink-182, and Action / Sweet for $1.99) as well as two new circuits for MotorStorm (Eagle’s Nest and Diamondback Speedway, $2.99). Also available are playable demos for Disney;s Turok and EA's FIFA Street 3, if all else fails, there's plenty of trailers, and movie clips to watch.
