Back in early 2007 New Line Cinema (now a unit of Warner Bros.) acquired the movie rights to Epic's action game Gears of War, to be adapted by Stuart Beattie and produced by Temple Hill Entertainment. During an interview with ComingSoon Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey revealed when we can expect to see the movie in theaters, "We've got our script on and a director we're about to attach. We'll hopefully make that early next year for the summer of 2010."

Set in New York, Rockstar is bringing its open-ended crime series to the next-gen consoles with Grand Theft Auto IV, situated around mysterious protagonist Nikolai.
