Shortly after CEO Christoph Syring resigned from CDV, the German develioper/publisher has sold off several of its upcoming key titles. Licenses to three of its top titles, War Front: Turning Point, Panzer Tactics and Jack Keane have been bought up by newcomer GDD Games Development, for a undisclosed amount of money. What this means in terms of release dates or delays is not known. CDV North America could not be reached before press time.

Frogwares today revealed its third title in the Sherlock Holmes series. After Mystery of the Mummy, and The Silver Earring, the French studio is actively working on Sherlock Holmes: The Awaken, scheduled for release October 2006.

The only Final Fantasy never localized will finally reach North American shores on Nov. 14, 2006. Using the features of the NDS to their fullest, Final Fantasy III features graphics that have been reworked and remodeled in 3D, while maintaining the mythical Final Fantasy look and feel.
