THE OMEGA STONE: Riddle of the Sphinx 2 Interview

by Thomas on June 15, 2002 @ 8:54 a.m. PDT | Filed under News

Gordon Currie, Online Marketing Manager at Dreamcatcher Interactive recently had the opportunity to Interview Jeff Tobler about the research and inside scoop behind the upcoming release of THE OMEGA STONE: Riddle of the Sphinx 2. Omni Creative Group are developers of the new Adventure Game, THE OMEGA STONE: Riddle of the Sphinx 2. Here is a clip:

Gordon: At E3, you demonstrated The Omega Stone. The textures and detail inside the pyramid ( MAYAN) where awesome. Were these actual textures from pictures you took on the site?

Jeff: Some were photos taken at Chichen Itzá and others were from an extensive library we have at the Omni Creative Group/Omni Adventures studio. It is ideal to go the location and get the textures, but not a necessity. Sometimes it actually works out better to use another texture from an unrelated area. Whatever looks right to our eye is what we use.
