Today, Ubisoft announced the third release in the CSI video game franchise, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: 3 Dimensions of Murder. CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder will be based on the characters and storylines from the original hit television series CSI, and will launch worldwide for PC in spring 2006.

Ubisoft today announced that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Dark Motives will be available for the PC in March 2004. The game is based on the hit CBS television series with an exclusive license from CBS Consumer Products. CSI: Dark Motives gives players the opportunity to solve a series of crimes with members of the CSI team.

Noted crime writer Max Allan Collins ('Road to Perdition') has revealed to
CSIFiles.com that UBI Soft is producing a second 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' computer game: "I'm working on the second UBI Soft game now," he said. "I have a more active role, consulting on the stories themselves; last time, they brought me in to write the dialogue, though I did repair some plot holes, too." You can read more about it over at

Ubi Soft today announced that the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation PC game will have the same look and feel as the show by featuring the likenesses and voice talents of the CSI cast, and a script by written by Max Allan Collins, author of three CSI novels. Ubi Soft also consulted with Las Vegas Senior Crime Scene Analyst Daniel Holstein to validate the accuracy of the CSI forensics referenced in the game. Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, and CBS Consumer Products, CBS Enterprises, a division of CBS Broadcasting Inc. and Alliance Atlantis, today announced an exclusive licensing agreement for Ubi Soft to develop and publish games based on the popular television series CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATIONTM for all platforms.
