Apart from the previously announced MLB Stickball, Microsoft has added two extra titles to Xbox Live Arcade today. From Software's Tenchu: Shadow Assault is a ninja action game where you use various ninja weapons to complete missions, or deploy traps in order to kill your friends online. Konami's Beat'n Groovy is a music-rhythm game with a variety of genres such as electronic, instrumental, and pop, featuring a on/offline two-player versus mode.

Australia's OLFC weeks ago, Japanese magazine Famitsu confirms that From Software is bringing its Tenchu franchise to Xbox Live Arcade. Details are slim but Shadow Assault Tenchu is said to be coming to XBLA next month, for 800 Points, will be played from a top down view, much like the Bomberman series, and support multiplayer up to 4 players.

The latest of Japanese magazine Famitsu reveals that From Software is working on a new installment in the Tenchu franchise. After the rather disappointing Tenchu Z, developer K2, who has been acquired by SEGA, has been replaced by Acquire, responsible for the first two installments in the series. No further details were mentioned, but chances that the Wiimote will be used are great, and it is currently scheduled for release in Japan on Oct. 23.

Not only has Capcom
acquired the MotoGP license earlier today, but it is also expanding its internal development studio by acquiring Japanese studio K2, known for Valhalla Knights and the Tenchu series. Capcom has used the services of K2 in the past, both companies are located in Osaka, and by making K2 a wholly owned subsidiary, Capcom plans to make its game development activities more efficient and speedy.
