Nordic Games announced the acquisition of the entire product- and brand-portfolio of DreamCatcher, including, but not limited to Painkiller, Safecracker, and more than 50 other intellectual properties (IPs) and licenses.

Together with HMH Interactive, DreamCatcher Games and JoWooD will release two high-class adventure titles, Book Of Unwritten Tales and Haunted for global distribution.

JoWooD announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire publisher DreamCatcher, providing JoWooD with direct access to every major retailer of PC and video games in North America. We contacted DreamCatcher several days ago for comment, but have yet to receive a reply.

Tesseraction Games has filed suit for breach of contract and racketeering against publisher Dreamcatcher Interactive. The lawsuit cites unpaid royalties, fraudulent sales reporting and intentional contract violations damaging Tesseractions intellectual property. Tesseraction is also seeking injunctive relief against the publisher. Are there actually any honest publishers in America?

Universal Combat: A World Apart went gold on April 15, but several issues with Dreamcatcher, the publishe, have not only held up the boxed retail release of that title, but also led to the termination of the agreement. As a result, rights have reverted back to 3000 AD, who is in the process of negotiating with other parties for the retail rights to this title.

DreamCatcher Games today announced it has joined forces with MC2 to publish and distribute Obscure in North America. This Survival Horror game will be available for the PlayStation2, Xbox and PC, in March 2005.

DreamCatcher Games today announced that it will publish Universal Combat: A World Apart, the second title in the Universal Combat series. The game will release globally for PC in May 2005.

Microids and DreamCatcher have signed a publishing/distribution agreement for the North American market for two titles, Still Life and Obscure. No specific release date was announced, but both are expected around Q2 2005.
