The latest issue of OXM has an in-depth article looking at Midway/Epic's upcoming FPS Unreal Tournament 3.
BeyondUnreal analyzed that preview coverage revealing that Epic has abandoned its initial idea to make gigantic maps utilizing UE3's streaming technology for up to 64 players, and instead went back to improving the original formula. The article also indicates that the retail game will feature 3 to 4 dozen multiplayer maps, with the single player portion exceeding that tally. GungHo Entertainment announced that it is working on bringing the popular anime-style MMORPG Ragnarok Online to the NDS. Inspired by the Ragnarok Online fantasy graphic novel, players can be anything they desire — a strong and vengeful swordsman, a swift thief, or caring healer.
