THQ today announced Evil Dead Regeneration for the Xbox, PS2, and PC. The game explores a "what if..." continuation from Evil Dead 2, one of the most unhinged films from famed director Sam Raimi. Valve has released three new Half-Life 2: Deathmatch maps, which are now available via Steam. These maps were created by the three players who won our recent HL2:DM mapping contest. If you have HL2:DM installed in your Steam games list, you will receive the new maps automatically. This release also includes a Counter-Strike: Source update which fixes incorrect player names appearing in the scoreboard.

Hellboy movie director Guillermo Del Toro has revealed that he has been approached to work with Mike Mignola, author of the original comic book, as a consultant for a video game based on the Hellboy movie. "A deal has been finalized with Konami for a Hellboy video game based on the movie version of the characters and world. The Collegiate Licensing Company today announced an exclusive licensing relationship with EA to develop, publish and distribute interactive college football games, on all consoles and handhelds. The six-year agreement gives EA the exclusive rights to the teams, stadiums and schools for use in its best-selling college football videogames, starting with NCAA Football 2006, scheduled for release this summer.
