"A number of additional accounts and CD keys have been tied to the use of a hack or cheat program while playing Warcraft III on Battle.net. In keeping with our aggressive stance against cheating, we have permanently closed 53,928 Warcraft III accounts. 8,168 of the Warcraft III CD keys used with the now-closed accounts have been banned from ladder play for one month, and 3,331 more have been banned from ladder play permanently. Repeat offenders risk having their CD keys disabled, which will result in the permanent removal of their copies of Warcraft III from Battle.net."

French developer Nadeo has no intentions of taking a break, as today they announced no less than two addons for Trackmania. Its latest product, Trackmania Sunrise, is getting a free downlodable expansion pack dubbed Trackmania Sunrise eXtreme, featuring new and more insane tracks than ever before. On top of that, the first Trackmania title is getting a revamp and will be re-released in October using the new Sunrise engine including a few new additions to the original 2003 release.

Vzlab today revealed the first details of its newest 3D FPS Nevski Titbit. St. Peterburg is in ruins and the city is under alien attack, and is it up to you to take revenge. The latest Famitsu issue has word that Capcom is working on a standalone sequel for its online RPG, Monster Hunter. Improvements will include more weapons, a greater focus on grouping, and a much larger environment, with a dynamic day/night cycle, including season changing. This will have an effect on overall gameplay, as certain animals will only be accessible during specific times of the day. Owners of Monster Hunter 2 will also be able to connect with its little PSP brother, Monster Hunter Portable. Expected release date is end of the year in Japan.
