Ubisoft Europe today announced that Far Cry Instincts will now be available for both the Xbox and the PlayStation 2 in Q1 2005. The console versions will take the best of the top selling tropical PC shooter adapting it to the consoles specificities and using the technology Far Cry fans have come to expect. The official Steam website has word that an update for CS:CZ and HLTV has just been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. CZ servers will need to be restarted in order to run this update. CS:CZ adds 2 new maps (de_truth_cz & de_corruption_cz), as well as a slew of game tweaks but also three previously unreleased 'Deleted Scenes' missions Fastline, Sandstorm, and Pipe Dream.

A few weeks ago, Ignition announced that they were bringing SNK's 'Metal Slug' to Europe (PS2/Xbox expected on October 2004), and today, it seems they are expanding their cooperation. Between September and early 2005, European console owners will be treated to home versions of some of SNK's most popular franchises, including: King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, and SNK vs. Capcom.
