THQ has released a new patch for Kuju Entertainment sci-fi shooter Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior.

The game is based on the world of "Warhammer 40,000" -- the dark, futuristic fantasy wargaming universe traveled by millions worldwide from Games Workshop, the world's largest tabletop wargames company, and incorporates online gaming for multiplayer on PlayStation 2 and PC.

Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior is a first-person shooter set in the dark gothic sci-fi future where you play as Kais, a young Tau warrior set to embark on a journey to become a Fire Warrior by completing your 'Trial by Fire' - your very first combat experience.

Fire Warrior follows one day in the tumultuous life of a young Tau warrior who must battle alone against a force that shows no mercy: The Imperium. The Tau will soon learn there is a darker foe at hand and become entangled in a frightening story that leads them through an ongoing war.
