THQ today announced that the fourth installment of the epic Broken Sword series of games will be entitled Broken Sword: The Angel of Death. Created by Revolution Software, this latest epic adventure is due to launch on PC and is expected to hit stores around the world in summer 2006.

Revolution Software has announced that the European version of their action/adventure game 'Broken Sword The Sleeping Dragon' (distributed by THQ) has reached gold status and they are on track for a November 14 street date (except for the Italian Xbox version which will be out November 21). The North American version, distributed by the Adventure Company, is very close.

On the DVD disc which came with this months issue of the Norwegian gaming magazine PCG, there was a brand new 53MB trailer of Broken Sword 3! The trailer show both George and Nico wandering around alot in some city, climbing walls and ladders, performing actions, using stuff from their inventory and interacting with other characters. Revolution’s managing director Charles Cecil will demonstrate the game to the world’s media during an invite-only presentation to be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, 29th August, the first day of the show.
