While a fifth installment in the Hitman franchise is not really much of a surprise, Eidos has yet to officially announce its existence. With last year's movie having done quite well and rumors of a second one in the planning stages, CEO Ian Livingstone revealed
a few months ago that IO Interactive would be in charge of Hitman 5.
Last week, actor Mark Sloan's resume stated that he did Hitman mo-cap at UK-based Rocksteady Studios for Hitman 5, but a new statement from Eidos' Livingstone says that the Batman developer is not working on the game, and as far as he knows, IO is still on the job.

Ubisoft announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the IP and technology rights to the Driver franchise, as well as most of the assets and all of the personnel of Reflections Interactive. Resolution Interactive has acquired full rights from Daydream Software to computer games Clusterball and X-Team Racing, and the game concepts Scarcefreak and Billion Dollar Disc. The agreement includes code, design and community servers, as well as customer databases. One exception is South America, where Daydream keeps the Clusterball and X-Team Racing rights for 3 years in order to complete unfinished business. Daydream is also allowed to use existing Autobahn code in its future production.
