JediKnightII.net let us know that according to the popular german game magazine 'GameStar' there WILL be a Jedi Knight 3! April joke or not? Here is a clip from Lucas forum:

The game will once again use a heavily-modifed Quake 3 Team Arena engine, as well as all of Raven’s own enhancements to it! Despite its Age, the screenies sure look spectacular! The multi-player part will also be enhanced, and rumours speak of vehicular combat!

According to Raven, JK III is 60% done, including story, scripts and levels. So, if everything goes well, you will be able to play it this fall!

As mentioned earlier today LucasArts would be releasing the v1.04 update for Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, here it is (a nice 9mb big). Also new dedicated servers for linux/win32 are now available. We got 6 new screens showing off the never before seen demo level that was included in yesterday's Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast demo release. Check out the screens and either grab the demo or the map itself which is made available as a standalone download for the retail version. Njoy!

It wasnt supposed to be released until later today but the demo version of Raven Software and LucasArts's hit action game Star Wars: Jedi Knight II is now available. As mentioned before the demo contains a single player level that is not in the retail version of the game. You can download the 66MB demo through Gigex or at Shacknews.

LucasArts announced that a playable demo of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is slated for release on Friday, May 10. The demo will feature a previously unavailable/new level. The demo will include 5 of the weapons in the full game and the Jedi Powers. Rage let us know that they will release an updated playable demo of Mobile Forces tomorrow. The new demo will have several improvements, such as dedicated server option, tweaked physics, enhanced networking code, a spectator option, rebalanced weapons, particle effects, several bug fixes and gameplay tweaks.

LucasArts released a patch for their recently released 'Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast'. This update brings your current game to version 1.03. This patch brings a slur of single/multi-player bug fixes/improvements, adds a few (4) new multiplayer maps (Duel mode), Force Feedback & 3D Sound support. The return to one of interactive entertainment's most successful game series will feature a partnership between LucasArts and Activision, Inc., through its developer Raven Software, which will result in the incorporation of the acclaimed QUAKE III Arena engine in the development of Jedi Outcast. Raven Software has created many critically celebrated action titles, and are also well know for their Sof (and upcoming Sof2). So does this game do the Star Wars brand name right, or does it fade away like the DeathStar?

Raven Software has released the Windows32/Linux versions of the Jedi Knight II dedicated server for their hit first person action game for publisher LucasArts. You can download the server at four locations over at HomeLAN. The Win32 : Download One,Download Two, Download Three and Download Four and the Linux version : Download One,Download Two, Download Three and Download Four. I'm battling my way through the game and i must admit ... i am impressed! The graphics are great .. the AI is good, the animations are crisp and above all .. the level design is fabulous ... tricky, hard, and big levels ... a few more days patience people ... it is da coming! In the meantime take a glimpse of what to expect and check the screens ... a whopping 60 and more coming as i slash my way through the game!
