In 'Shade: Wrath of Angels' you take on the role of a secretive ex-military mercenary, who receives a letter from his brother asking to meet him in an old Eastern European town. Once there the player finds the town strangely quiet - until he discovers dead bodies, frighten soldiers and scientists running away from the town.

Cenega Publishing and Tri Synergy, Inc. announced today a North American release date of October 1, 2004 for their 3rd person action adventure PC title, Shade: Wrath of Angels.

The new engine supports all the latest technology, including full compatibility with DirectX 9.

A couple years ago, the GarageGames position on shader support was that it was not needed. The latest chapter in one of the longest running and most revered videogame franchises, "Nightshade" delivers more intense gameplay, bigger environments, and sharper visuals than its popular 2002 predecessor, "Shinobi". Cenega has delayed the PC version (Xbox release TBA) of Shade: Wrath of Angels and will now be releasing it in 2004. With a very successful E3 show, where Cenega showed an early playable pre-alpha code of Shade: Wrath of Angles, almost all the visitors were blown away with the ability of the graphics engine made for this title. It has become necessary to delay the game for some months in order to ensure the other elements of the game live up to a great level of detail, as well as gamers' high expectations for this title.
