While Atari isn't exactly flourishing financially, it's still not as bad off as Midway and has been on a spending spree, signing a slew of titles in the past few months. At its Atari Live press event in London today, Infogrames president Phil Harrison revealed that the French publisher plans on bringing back several of its key, but dormant, franchise in the future. While there was nothing to announce just yet, we can expect new installments in the Baldur's Gate, Dungeons & Dragons and Test Drive franchises.

outlets picked up the rumor (based on this
German interview) that Gas Powered Games was working on Dungeon Siege 3 and that it would no longer have multi-character parties.
C&VG asked for verification and apparently the comment was taken out of context, as the question asked (whether GPG had learned lessons from previous installments) was hypothetical, that IF a Dungeon Siege 3 was to be made, GPG would shy away from the multi-character parties and instead focus on a single hero.
