Sony Computer Entertainment America announced the PlayStation Network Gamers’ Choice Awards 2011, designed to recognize the best games on PlayStation Network across four game categories.

Sony Computer Entertainment announced that the cumulative sales of PS2 system reached 150 million units worldwide,  10 years and 11 months since PlayStation 2's release in Japan in March 2000.

Sony announced that the cumulative number of registered accounts on PlayStation Network worldwide has exceeded 20 million as of Feb. 20, 2009. The registered accounts on PSN reached 5 million in 1 year and 2 months, 10 million in 1 year and 8 months, and exceeded 20 million in only 2 years and 3 months since the service launched on Nov. 11, 2006.
