In EURO 2004 mode players can play as any of the 51 European nations. Players can arrange and play friendly matches against other nations or play through the tournament going from qualifying, to playoffs and into the finals. In addition to tracking injuries and suspensions, a new dynamic morale system will track players' morale, which will fluctuate based on individual and team performances and affect player abilities on the field.

Navarre, owner of US publisher Encore, has released its quarterly financial numbers in which is revealed that the console title based on the Daredevil movie has been cancelled. Paulson concluded, “Included in our results, is our management decision to shut down the development of Encore’s video game console projects which primarily consisted of the Daredevil video game project. As a result, the Company wrote off $4.3 million of development costs during the quarter and a total of $5.6 million for the fiscal year. Salvatore to develop the storyline for its upcoming action adventure video game, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, which will also feature the extraordinary talents of actors Patrick Stewart and Michael Clarke Duncan, who will lend their voices to two prominent roles in the video game. Demon Stone, which is scheduled for release in Fall 2004, is set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons world created by Wizards of the Coast. Demon Stone is being developed by Stormfront Studios, creators of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, for the PS2 & Xbox.
